About Us
Meet Our Farmers!

Ord Cox
With over 75 years of experience, Ord Cox was the heart and soul of our family-run date farm. His passion for farming was deeply rooted in his family’s legacy, which spanned from El Paso to Yuma County. From dates and citrus to alfalfa and peanuts, Ord cultivated it all. Even after semi-retiring, he loved sharing his knowledge with his son Ty, ensuring the tradition would continue for generations. Ord passed away in October 2024, but his spirit, dedication, and love for farming remain at the core of everything we do. This is the man who started it all and kept our farm thriving and whose legacy continues to grow in every date we harvest.

Ty Cox
With over three decades of experience, Ty Cox is the innovative force behind our family-run date farm. His passion for agriculture began in childhood, shadowing his father, Ord, through the date groves and learning the art of nurturing date palms. After exploring various crops throughout his adulthood, Ty took over the family business, bringing fresh ideas to our farm. Ty loves the ever-changing nature of date farming, where each year brings new challenges and innovations. His dedication to evolving growing techniques ensures our dates are of the highest quality.

Jake Cox
Jacob is a third generation date farmer. After working in construction in Arizona, Texas and California, he decided to come home to farm. He is an integral part of managing our Organic and Food Safety programs.
